About the Designer
Born in 1969, the designer behind Sympathy Studio graduated from an art university but spent three decades working as a real estate facility management project manager at a financial company. In 2020, seeking to preserve a long-held creative spirit within a conservative and bureaucratic work environment, the designer turned to leather crafting.

What began as a personal exploration with eco-friendly, vegetable-tanned leather—making practical items for personal use and close friends—soon expanded into a broader artistic journey. Today, the designer goes beyond the boundaries of leather to create diverse products, ranging from book art journals to paracord accessories.
